Brenda Carter, YT200     

Teaching since 1997, Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the mat in her Yoga classes.  Balance is a word that comes to mind when describing a practice with Brenda; expect plenty of physical challenge, countered with restorative poses and a mindful awareness of the “union“ of yoga; body, mind, and spirit.  As an instructor, she hopes to inspire students to foster a mindset of curiosity and exploration in their personal practice.  Remembering, that there is so much to be learned about ourselves every time we step on our mat.  The possibility for discovery and growth are endless.  Brenda teaches Yin / Restore on Friday mornings.

DeeDee Bernstiel, RYT200   

A former school teacher for many years, DeeDee continues to enjoy teaching as she instructs YogaOne's  Basic 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Classes.  She has received her RYT200 through our own YogaOne Teacher School here in Trooper PA.  She also has PreNatal and Seniors Certifications through YogaFit.  DeeDee's calm and flowing teaching style helps to make students comfortable and relaxed in her classes.

Helen Ralston, RYT200   

Helen’s background is in singing classical music and opera and she feels there are many parallels between yoga and singing, particularly in the use of the breath and breath control.  She began a regular practice of yoga in 2014 at YogaOne.  She completed her 200 hours of training at the YogaOne Teacher Training School and has been delighted to begin teaching the Chair Yoga classes at YogaOne.  Helen has found practicing yoga to be very helpful in building strength and coordination after having had weight loss surgery and losing 100lbs.  She has also found yoga to be very helpful in handling stress and is interested in bringing the gift of yoga to others, particularly the elderly and young people, who might not have the means or opportunity to experience yoga.  She truly believes that yoga is for everyone and can benefit all body types regardless of fitness level, as well as bring a sense of inner peace, self-love and loving-kindness to others.

Patti teaches our Sunday Basic 1 class and Wednesday evening Level 2 class.  She began her life's Yoga journey at our original YogaOne Studio seven years ago, and completed her 200 hour RYT in April of 2017.

Kamini Patel, Yoga Teacher / Certified Wellness Coach   

Kamini is a well known local Yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga since 2003 and we are blessed to have her as part of our teaching staff.  She incorporates elements of traditional Hatha Yoga as well as Pranayama (breathing techniques) in her classes. Her nurturing style of instruction leaves students with a sense of deep relaxation and well being.  Kamini teaches Hatha Yoga on Tuesday afternoons.

Beverly Blahut, YT500   

Beverly has taught yoga for over twenty five years with certifications in Classical Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal, Therapeutic, Restorative, Children's Yoga, Yoga for Teens at Risk, Ayurveda, Core, Senior Yoga, Meditation and Tai Chi. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, she combines Yoga and Reiki in workshops.  Beverly has also studied Yoga in India and continues to keep her teaching fresh at the Himalayan Institute, which is her "home away from home."
In addition, Beverly's professional career as a public school art teacher has given her the opportunity to combine art and yoga in workshops for adults and children.  Yoga is a way of life to Beverly and she enjoys spreading that passion to others.   Beverly teaches Basic 1 on Tuesday mornings and monthly Reiki & Restore.

Debi Gillespie,  YT   

Debi has been practicing yoga for over 5 years. She is completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at our YogaOne Teacher School. Debi's dynamic teaching style couples a strong focus on alignment and mental effort in posture....yet softened with a thread of humor! Enjoy Debi as she teaches our Thursday 4:30 Level 2/3 class. 

Raj Singh, Tai Chi Instructor   

Raj has been practicing Martial Arts for over twenty years.  He holds certification as First Dan Instructor in 8 Step Praying Mantis by the American Chinese Martial Arts Federation and is a certified Zen Bodytherapy Practitioner by the International Zentherapy Institute.  Raj comes to YogaOne from California where he has instructed Tai Chi for several organizations.   "Tai Chi applies physics and geometry on the human body; allowing use of space, time, and gravity through practical application, bringing better understanding to the mind-body connection".

Susanlee Mascaro, RYT500, RYT200,  Faculty YogaOne Teacher School   

Susanlee received her 200 and 500 hour Yoga Teacher designations from Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachusetts.  She holds a Certification in Positive Psychology and is also certified in the following yoga styles and modalities: Ashtanga, Power, Laughter, Restorative, Senior, Medical, Kids, Prenatal, and Pranayama (breathing techniques).   Susanlee is a substitute teacher at YogaOne.

Vicki L. Kneeland, E-RYT200, RYT500, YACEP
Owner and Lead Faculty YogaOne Teacher School, Owner of YogaOne 

Vicki has over 38 years of teaching experience in the Fitness and Wellness industry.  She is a nationally recognized Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance with 550 hours of training and over 3000 hours of yoga teaching experience.  Vicki is also a Continuing Education Provider for all registered Yoga Alliance teachers.  In addition to her regular Yoga classes, Vicki also holds certifications in Yoga HealthCare I, II, III, Senior Yoga, Kid/Teen Yoga, Yoga for the Weight-Challenged, Pre/ Post Natal Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Yoga for Healing Emotional / Physical Trauma, Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga for Warriors (Veterans).  Vicki is also a Level II Certified Ayurveda Specialist as well as an Independent Product Consultant for DoTerra Essential Oils.  Her passions off of the mat include interior design, cooking, piano, and spending time with family and new kitten, Gracie.  Vicki’s mission is to bring the gift of yoga to anyone and everybody.

Irma Sciarra, E-RYT200, RYT500, YACEP

Irma's first experience with the practice of yoga started many years ago when her interest in trying new things led her to her first yoga class. Today her curiosity for learning new things remains and is what Irma appreciates most about the practice of yoga. Irma completed her 250 hr yoga teacher training at the Yogalife Institute and obtained her 200RYT certification with the Yoga Alliance in 2013.  Since then she has completed her 500 hr teacher training at the Yogallfe Institute and registered with the Yoga Alliance as a 500RYT.   Irma's personal interests include spending time with loved ones, friends, animals and humans alike and the engagement in lifelong learning.

Kim Borzillo RYT200   

Kim started her regular practice of yoga simply as a way to unplug from Corporate America. It was not until many years later, that she truly understood the mind and body healing benefits that yoga offered. Kim completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher training at YogaOne and continues to sustain a regular practice regardless of the twists and turns life brings. Influenced by the energy of her instructors, peers, and surroundings; she aims to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each class.  Kim seeks to encourage thought and meaning in each class through intention, mediation, and energy readings. She strives to adapt postures to the needs of students with a goal that each person can gain a sense of self connection, inspiration, and improved quality of life.  Kim teaches Wednesday evening Meditative Yoga.

Erica Woodland, RYT500   

Erica Woodland creates a safe, sacred space for students to explore and interact with their inner landscapes, honor their highest self, connect with their breath, and learn to listen to and honor their body so they can move mindfully on and off the mat. Her teachings include yoga philosophy, breath work, visualization, meditation, yoga nidra, chanting, drumming, and yin/restorative practices. She is an artist by trade and creates beautiful handcrafted jewelry & accessories, wall decals, and apparel.  Off the mat, she enjoys drawing, drumming, chanting, art, hiking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her dog and husband connecting to ‘all that is’.   Erica is an RYT-500 and completed her 250 & 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certifications at the YogaLife Institute, as well as an additional 40 hours of specialized Yin Yoga Training. She also completed specialized training in Restorative Yoga with Judy Curiel. She is a USUI Reiki Master, a Munay-Ki Rites initiate, and continues her education in Native American studies with Shamanic Practitioner Libby Piper. Erica has a Bachelors Degree from Kutztown University with a focus in graphic design and metal smithing.   Erica teaches Restorative one Friday each month.


Ken Martz, Psy.D. RYT200
Lead Faculty YogaOne Teacher School

Dr Ken is a licensed psychologist and has been exploring and teaching yoga techniques since 1997.  His gentle style has been influenced by a range of traditions including Kripalu, Kundalini and Freedom Style yoga.  This blend of posture, breath and meditation lead to a compassionate practice, that is both challenging and relaxing.  Ken teaches Level 2 and Vinyasa/Kundalini on Sundays.

Jennifer Prusacki, RYT200,  Studio Receptionist   

After practicing yoga for several years and realizing the many benefits of it, Jennifer decided to start her teaching journey in September of 2013.  While juggling the responsibilities of two teenage daughters, two dogs, a part-time job, and volunteer work, Jennifer was pleased to have completed her 200-hour teacher certification in November, 2015.  She shares her upbeat outlook on life, teaching Level 2, and Chair classes, weaving in focus on breath, safe alignment, and sometimes even a bit of humor. After all, without a light approach to yoga, free of competition and judgment, how can it truly be a practice for everyone?  Enjoy the journey of yoga!  Your body and mind will thank you.
